Identify and assess your movement with Alta’s musculoskeletal screening assessments.
Get your body back on track
Screening assessments are performed to assess your musculoskeletal health. Alta uses world-leading technology in its screening assessments, meaning that your results are backed by the most precise human movement data available.
What is a screening assessment?
When should I do a screening assessment?
What happens after my screening assessment?
Following your screening assessment, we will sit down with you to provide a plan of action moving forward. Our Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists will be able to provide informed advice regarding which exercises to perform, how to stretch and mobilise muscles and joints, areas requiring further attention, strategies to improve the body’s biomechanics, and more.
Who are screening assessments for?
Alta’s screening assessments are suitable for everyone, no matter their age or activity level. A general screening will allow us to provide expert advice to help you improve your movement and posture. We also offer sports specific screenings, or screenings for a movement or joint which is causing you problems.
More than just physio
Alta is not a gym and more than just a physio clinic. We know exercise is the most important component of your rehabilitation and our goal is to get you back to your gym, chosen sport or everyday life.
Whether you’re young or old, athletic or not, movement is for everyone and you’ll feel right at home in our welcoming, inclusive environment.
